I receive this answear from Stephan Jurgens, a german member of our association,
expert in cancel, that confirm the opinion of Paolo Guglielminetti.
The current "Art Noveau" station in Antwerp was build betwettn 1899 and 1905 and opened 1905 ...but: the first station in Antwerp opened in 1839 (Borgerhout = Antwerpen - Oost). (You have a similar situation in Milan: the current Milano Centrale opens 1931 - but I have hundered of cancels from Milano Ferrovia form the time between 1863 and 1910 (the time I collect). I have no doubt that there was a station in Milano before 1931 ...
If a cancel from 1895 can be used in an "Art Noveau" collection depends on my opinion on the description ... (add the word "predecessor" and everything should be fine
