Hello mr. Xiaolin,

in the Italian edition of Wikipedia there is a clear explanation of the origin and the meaning of the name of this town:
Cita:

This means that the name "Bagnacavallo" is referred to the crossing point of the Senio river: to do that, the horses get wet.
This is the coat of arms:

Best regards, Marco.

If you can help …

There is also a legend.

The legend of Bagnacavallo:

Once, in Roman times, Bagnacavallo called "Tiberiacum" .A day Tiberius, the Roman emperor, came to the country with his limping horse .

He brought his horse into the waters of "Tiberiacum" and it came out healthy.

From that day "Tiberiacum" was called BAGNACAVALLO (BATHING HORSE) .

:ciao: Pietro
