Hi! Handstamp, certifying the franchise, of the Saint Clara military hospital head office (in the crown: “DIREZZIONE DELL'OSPITALE MILITARE S. CHIARA”) used throughout the period of the provisional government of the "Republic of Venice" (only "Venice" after the reoccupation of the dry land by the Austrian troops), therefore from 23/3/1848 (uprising of Venice) to 21/8/1849 (its surrender).
